COLLECTING AND FORWARDING OF INFORMATION
The “Google +1” button lets you publish information worldwide and gives you and other users personalised contents from Google and our partners. Google stores both the information that you have given for a “+1” content and the information on the page you were viewing when you clicked the “+1” button. Your “+1” may appear as tips together with your profile name and your photo in Google services, e.g. in search results or your Google profile, or at other places on websites and advertisements on the internet.
Google records information on your “+1” activities for the purpose of improving Google services for you and others. Before you can use the “Google +1” button, you first need a globally visible, public Google profile that must contain at least the name selected for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In a number of cases, this name can also replace another name that you used to share contents via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can appear to users that know your e-mail address or you have given other information identifying you.
USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION
The information you provide is used in compliance with the applicable Google Privacy Terms and Conditions in addition to the purpose explained above. Google may publish compiled statistics on the “+1” activities of users or forwards these to users and partners, e.g. publishers, advertisers, or affiliated websites.
